From wheelwright to established shopfitter
1949:
Foundation of the wheelwright's workshop by Hermann Koch, the grandfather of Klaus and Eberhard Röhricht, in Werningsleben/Thuringia
1952:
Hermann Koch hands over the business to his son-in-law Reinhard Röhricht, a master wheelwright at the time. In addition to wheelwright work for the agricultural sector, wooden car bodies are built for the P70 and F8. At the end of the 1960s, wooden windows, doors and gates are manufactured.
1979:
Klaus Röhricht supports his parents' business as a journeyman carpenter and then as a master carpenter
1970/80:
Construction of a new workshop as an extension to the production area on the residential property in Werningsleben
1984:
Son Eberhard Röhricht gives up his job as a graduate engineer, becomes a journeyman carpenter and also a master carpenter in his parents' business
1988:
Reinhard Röhricht hands over his business to his son Klaus Röhricht and his wife Silke Röhricht, who was helping out at the time
1989:
Turning point: new business areas open up. It is clear from the outset that shopfitting is to become a new mainstay.
1991:
Röhricht Innenausbau GmbH, today's INDOORBAU Röhricht GmbH, is founded by Klaus, Silke and Eberhard Röhricht as partners, with Klaus and Eberhard Röhricht as managing directors. The mainstay of the company is shopfitting, but individual furniture construction according to customer requirements is also possible.
1997:
On October 20, production starts on 800 square meters of state-of-the-art production space at the newly acquired site in the Arnstadt Nord industrial estate, construction time: 7 months
1998:
On May 1, the commercial employees move into their new offices in the administration building.
2000:
Silke Röhricht is appointed Managing Director in the commercial division
2006:
New corporate identity
2008/2009:
4th generation support from Marcus Röhricht and Lisa Gehlau (née Röhricht) in the areas of planning/IT and business administration respectively
2012:
Expansion of storage capacity on the site with a new warehouse
2019:
Eberhard Röhricht retires and transfers his shares to his son Marcus Röhricht
2020:
Marcus Röhricht is appointed shareholder
2021:
INDOORBAU Röhricht GmbH becomes a cooperation partner of TINY CONCEPT GmbH & Co. KG - It's for YOU - LIFE IN THE SMALL is so great
2023:
Klaus Röhricht leaves operational business, but remains with INDOORBAU Röhricht GmbH as owner and operations manager.
